In his new report, KGI analyst Kuo says Apple is having trouble getting various components for the iPhone X, including a wide-angle camera, an infra-red point projector that calculates depth and an antenna. According to Kuo, Apple is experiencing the biggest strain on the flexible printed circuit board used in the antenna system of the new iPhone.
Special components, operations, and rigorous testing are required because Apple's built-in iPhone X antenna components have much higher features than the iPhone 8 or other models. It was expected that most of the company's antennas supplier Murata's antenna orders would meet. But since the company could not meet the demand, it started to work with new suppliers.
