A pilot strike at French regional airline Air Corsica has disrupted flight schedules, forcing the airline to cancel numerous flights and operate a reduced service.
The strike began on Friday, October 9, 2026, with around 140 pilots represented by the SNPL and SPAC unions reportedly involved. Sunday, October 11, saw significant cancellations, while further disruption was expected on Monday, October 12.
Air Corsica introduced a limited flight schedule covering departures from Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari. A Calvi–Nice flight was also scheduled to operate at 8:00 AM on Monday.
The airline's management said it was taking additional operational measures to maintain as many flights as possible. Negotiations between the unions and management were expected to continue over the weekend.
Passengers travelling with Air Corsica are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport, as cancellations and schedule changes may affect their journeys.
