Aprona dönen uçaktaki yolcuların endişeli bekleyişi ilk anonsla yerini şaşkınlığa bıraktı: Kule tavsiyesi üzerine en yüksek hızdan geri döndük. İkinci anons sonrası ise neredeyse tüm yolcular aynı tepkiyi verdi: Ölümden dönmüşüz. Yaşanan gerilimden fotoğrafları Emre Ünlü çekti. Endişeli geçen saatlerden sonra yolculara yeni bir uçak tahsis etti. Yolcular uçakta yerini aldığında yeni bir tehlike yaşanmasın diye dua etti. Türk Hava Yolları'nın 15:00'te havalanması gereken TK2151 sefer sayılı Ankara-İstanbul yolcu uçağı, havalanmak üzereyken kalkışını son anda iptal etti. Aprona dönen uçaktaki yolcular bir süre panik içinde bekledi. EN YÜKSEK HIZDAN GERİ DÖNÜLDÜ Bir süre sonra pilotun anonsu duyuldu: Kule tavsiyesi üzerine en yüksek hızdan geri döndük. Bu anons sonrası uçakta şaşkınlık ve panik yaşandı. Uçakta, saat 14:00'te yapılması gereken ancak kuş sürüleri tehlike yarattığı için iptal edilen Ankara-İstanbul seferi yolcularının olması ve ikinci iptali yaşamaları huzursuzluğu arttırdı.

Northrop Unveils XS-1 Spaceplane Design For Darpa

Northrop Grumman has unveiled its vertical-launch, horizontal-landing reusable booster design for the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency’s (Darpa) XS-1 experimental spaceplane program. Northrop, teamed with subsidiary Scaled Composites and Virgin Galactic, is working under a 13-month, $3.9 million Phase 1 preliminary-design contract, awarded in July. Contracts also went to Boeing with Blue Origin, and Masten Space Systems with XCOR Aerospace. Northrop’s unmanned spaceplane is launched vertically from a transporter/erector/launcher, in a "clean pad"-operation with minimum infrastructure and ground crew. The spaceplane is designed for highly autonomous flight operations, the company says. The reusable first stage would accelerate to Mach 10 or beyond and release an expendable upper stage designed to carry a 3,000-lb.-class payload into low Earth orbit, then return to a horizontal landing and recovery on a standard runway. Key goals of the XS-1 flight demonstration are to fly 10 times in 10 days, exceed Mach 10 at least once and launch a small payload into orbit. Darpa’s target is to reduce the cost of access to space for 3,000-5,000-lb. payloads to less than $5 million per flight. Under Phase 1, the three teams will evaluate the technical feasibility of the program goals, explore alternative technical approaches and assess potential suitability for near-term transition of the reusable spaceplane to military, commercial and civil users

Etihad Pisti Pas Gecti!

Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri'ne ait Etihad Havayolları'nın EY97 sefer sayılı Abu Dabi-İstanbul uçuşunu yapan A6-AFB kuyruk tescilli Airbus 330 tipi yolcu uçağının Atatürk Havalimanı'na inişi sırasında sorun yaşandı. Uçuşunu tamamlamak üzere 05-23 numaralı Ataköy-Florya yönündeki pistin Florya tarafından inişe geçen uçağın pilotu, 2 bin 600 metre uzunluğundaki piste yeterince yaklaşamayınca pisti pas geçmek zorunda kaldı. Marmara Denizi üzerinde tur atan uçağın kaptan pilotu bu sefer 3 bin metre uzunluğundaki 17-35 numaralı Sefaköy-Florya istikametindeki piste iniş için izin istedi. Pistin Florya istikametinden inişe geçen uçak sorunsuz bir şekilde Atatürk Havalimanı'nın pistine indi. Uçağının iniş yapmak istediği 17-35 numaralı Sefaköy-Florya pistinin kalkışlar için kullanılması nedeniyle bu acil iniş gerçekleşene kadar pistten yapılacak olan tüm kalkışlar durduruldu.

Yakıt tasarrufu, çevreci enerji tüketimi gibi özellikleriyle fark yaratan C Serisi uçaklardaki FTE'i tek kaynak olarak üreten TUSAŞ'ın tamamladığı ilk FTE Bombardier Belfast tarafından kanada entegre edilerek Montreal'deki nihai montaj hattına sevk edilecek. TUSAŞ'ın Ankara, Kazan'daki modern tesislerinde gerçekleştirilen törene aralarında Bombardier Belfast Genel Müdürü Michael Ryan; Tedarik ve Üretim Başkanı Stephen Cowan ile TUSAŞ Genel Müdürü Muharrem Dörtkaşlı, Ortak Hizmetler Grup Başkanı Bekir Ata Yılmaz, Yapısal Grup Başkanı Naki Polat'ın da bulunduğu birçok üst düzey yetkilisi katıldı. Program, C Serisi için üretilen FTE ile TUSAŞ'ın savunma ve havacılık alanlarında, uluslararası platformda kabul gören başarılarına bir yenisinin daha eklenmesinin yanı sıra, FTE montajının gerektirdiği üretim kabiliyetlerinin TUSAŞ kabiliyetlerine eklenmesi ve birçok Türk firmasından Yardımcı Sanayi olarak destek alınarak bir misyonun yerine getirilmesi açısından da önem taşıdığı vurgulandı. TUSAŞ, seri üretim fazına geçildiğinde; Belfast'ta oluşturulan kanat montaj hatlarına ayda 10 adet FTE sevk edecek

THY'nin iç hatlarda Esenboğa, Antalya ve Adnan Menderes havalimanları dışındaki 64 seferini karşılıklı iptal etti.

İstanbul'da etkili olan şiddetli yağış ve fırtına nedeniyle kentteki Atatürk ve Sabiha Gökçen havalimanlarındaki uçuşlar kontrollü bir şekilde gerçekleştiriliyor.

Yetkililerden alınan bilgilere göre, Atatürk Havalimanı üzerinde etkili olan "elektrik yüklü bulut" nedeniyle 16.00'dan itibaren bir saatlik sürede uçuşlar askıya alındı. Bu esnada havalimanına inmeye hazırlanan 10 uçak, Esenboğa, Antalya ve Adnan Menderes havalimanlarına zorunlu iniş yaptı.

Uçuş saatini bekleyen yolculara bilgilendirme anonslarının yapıldığı Atatürk Havalimanı'nda yolculardan bazıları gazete ve kitap okurken, bazıları ise pistte etkili olan yağışı izledi.

Kalkış yapmak için hazır bekleyen uçakların uzun kuyruklar oluşturduğu pistin bazı bölümlerinde yağıştan dolayı göletler meydana geldiği gözlendi.
İç hatlarda 64 sefer iptal

THY'nin iç hatlarda Esenboğa, Antalya ve Adnan Menderes havalimanları dışındaki 64 seferini karşılıklı iptal ettiği öğrenilirken, şirketin resmi internet sitesinden "İstanbul yolcularımızın dikkatine" başlığıyla yapılan duyuruda, "İstanbul'da yaşanan olumsuz hava koşulları nedeniyle kapanan İstanbul Atatürk Havalimanı ve Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı kısmen tekrar iniş ve kalkış trafiğine açılmıştır. Yolcularımızın seyahatlerinden önce uçuşlarıyla ilgili son durumu www.thy.com adresinden veya 444 0 849 numaralı çağrı merkezimizden öğrenmelerini rica ederiz" denildi.

Yetkililer, meteorolojiden alınan güncel bilgiler dahilinde "elektrik yüklü bulutlar"ın saat 22.00'ye kadar etkili olabileceğini bildirdi.

Reuters'inhaberine göre siber güvenlik hacker'ı Ruben Santamarta, yolcu uçaklarının uydu haberleşme cihazlarına yolcularınWi-Fi ve uçuş eğlence sistemleri sayesinde erişmenin bir yolunu buldu. Santamarta bu açığı, bu hafta Las Vegas'da düzenlenen Black Hat güvenlik konferansında paylaştı. Ayrıca bu uydu haberleşme cihazlarının sadece uçaklarda değil, aynı zamanda gemilerde, askeri araçlarda, gaz boru hatlarında ve rüzgar türbinlerinde de kullanıldığı söylendi. Öte yandan uçak ya da geminin uydu haberleşme sisteminin hacklenmesi, çok büyük sonuçlar doğurabilir. Bu güvenlik açığı üzerinde uzmanların çalışmaları olacak.
