We require the expertise of suitably qualified mechanical AME's who have significant experience working in the line maintenance area of aircraft maintenance . The main function of this role is to carry out maintenance on Jetstar aircraft in a timely and safe manner in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Reporting to a LicensedAircraft Maintenance Engineer, some of the key responsibilities of this role are: Carry out maintenance on company aircraft Ensure timely and correct work is carried out Build and maintain good working relationships with team members , contractors and any outside service providers Comply with "Be Safe" and OH&S requirements To be considered for this role you should have: Be qualified as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Have significant experience working as an AME in a maintenance 'Line' environment on A320/321 and A330 aircraft (desirable) The ability to breakdown problems, assess and interpret options and develop solutions Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a team Ability to work rotating shifts Experience with Trax and/or MXI systems (desirable) The Jetstar Group flies to 64 destinations across 16 countries and territories.
