Turkish Spending Spree - MAX and NEO Update

Turkish Airlines is on a narrowbody spending spree. Its aggressive expansion plans from its hub in Istanbul are based on its narrowbody operation, and today's announcement that Turkish will order 40 737 MAX 8 and 10 MAX 9s follows the airline's recent commitment to order four A320 NEO and 53 A321 NEOs (in addition to Boeing 737 NGs and Airbus A321 CEOs).
