They blocked the landing of Afriqiyah plane

A civilian plane belonging to Libya's Afriqiyah Airways failed to land at Sebha Airport due to the interference of Khalifa Haftar militias, the leader of the illegitimate armed forces in the east of the country.

Haftar militias prevented the landing of the civilian passenger plane at the airport in the southern city of Sebha by placing an armed military vehicle on the runway, according to a source from Afriqiyah Airlines, Libya's local Al-Ahrar canal.

It was stated that the plane departs from the capital Tripoli's Mitiga Airport and carries passengers to Sebha with its 100 passengers.

Local authorities announced that flights from Tripoli to Sebha Airport started for the first time in 6 years in the middle of the month.
